Respect Me, Respect My Birth Control

What a loathsome thing to do. Best case scenario is still terrible, some kind of juvenile risk game. But even that is beneath contempt. I've certainly known of cases where women lied about being on the pill, or guys lied about having vasectomies, but this feels particularly ugly, manipulative, and invasive. While a law suit may be beyond the question, public shaming would seem an appropriate punishment. Let future partners understand what they are dealing with. Ugh.

No one else seems to want to coment here, so I will echo, yes this kind of thing is terrible. I have heard worse. I do not grasp what leads people to such behaviour. It reminds me of your "knaves or fools" comment earlier. Are you sure that there are not a lot of knaves and fools about?

Sorry for the misspelling above.

The only comment I can think of when confronted with such unfathomably deceitful and, worse, STUPID behavior (why on Earth would someone wish to sabotage contraception during a 1-night stand???), is Lex Luther's immortal line in Superman: The Movie:

"People are no damned good!".
