Over the next few days, I'm going to dissect Michael Jackson, as if he was a character in a book I'm writing. That means that all of the observed phenomena, habits, and history have to make sense within a congruent matrix. Real human beings aren't necessarily like that. No matter how many models I have, or how good I think my intuition is, the truth will always evade words. Therefore, although I'm going to be making my statements in a fairly positive way, I cannot claim to actually know Mr. Jackson--I'm just taking a novelist's stab at filling in the public knowledge about the most recognizable man in the world.
