If you were a completely excellent person, how would you be different from the person you are today?

I would not be very different. Probably have a little more resistance to impulse purchases which drive up my consumer debt. Probably have a little less ADD.

Well, thinking in terms of self-acceptance, I wouldn't change a thing, but would accept myself as I am in this moment. But in terms of 'perfection' (which the word excellence seems to conjure for me) I'd write more and pander less, exercise more and eat less, love more and fear less. Of course, 'perfection' is impossible, but we can strive for it. Okay, the word 'excellence' fits the bill perfectly here I see. Perfection is impossible, but one's personal best, i.e. excellence, IS attainable. But I'm clear that self-love is necessary on the road to excellence, every step of the way.
